| Gideon Charged For Stabbing and Robbing Grandma |

Last week Wednesday 23 year old Henry Gideon allegedly attacked his own 64 year old grandmother, robbing her of a bosom purse and stabbing her repeatedly.
He was living in her house, she thought he was sleeping beside her - but when she awoke and called to him for help, she didn't know that it was her own grandson who was allegedly behind the knife.
He went on the run and Police caught him near the border on Saturday. Here's more:...

"Police have since arrested and charged Henry Gideon, 23 year old of a Trinidad address for the crimes of robbery and wounding. He was apprehended in the area of Blue Creek towards the Mexican border."

"So is it your belief that he may have been trying to abscond?"
ACP Joseph Myvett
"Well, that could have been the case."
Police say that have arrested Gideon many times before. Today in court he pleaded not guilty and was remanded until the 9th September.
