Police caught 34 year old Steven Castillo in a compromising position with a teenaged girl and today charged him for unlawful sexual intercourse.

On Tuesday the cops were conducting a routine patrol in the city when they came upon a parked vehicle. When they looked inside they saw Castillo acting suspiciously in the front seat, while a female sitting in the back seat was wearing no underwear.

She’s only 15 and the child’s parents were called in along with Social Services.  A doctor confirmed that the child was carnally known.

This morning, Castillo who was unrepresented appeared before Senior Magistrate, Aretha Ford in Court #2 where he was read a single charge of unlawful sexual intercourse.  No plea was taken from Castillo and he was denied bail and remanded at the Belize Central Prison until November 4, 2019.
