| Toledo Teacher Charged For Carnal Knowledge With Student |

22 year old Japheth Chavarria, a teacher from Toledo Community College is on remand at the Hattieville Prison. He is accused of having sex with a minor who is reportedly a student at the school.
The minor who claims to be Chavarria's girlfriend visited the Punta Gorda police station in the company of a social officer to report the encounter. A medical examination was conducted on the minor and she was certified to have been harmed.
On October 24, Police formally arrested and charged Chavarria for Unlawful Sexual Intercourse. He was arraigned and remanded.
