Alleged Flasher Exposes Himself To Corporal
Tue, December 3, 2019
Indecent public exposure isn't the type of crime that regularly makes the news, but a Belize City man has pleaded guilty to the offense today.

He's Eduel Haulze, a laborer of Fabers Road, and police say that he shook his private parts at 2 adults and some school children at 2 different locations yesterday morning.

The first incident occurred when Hauze was at the corner of Curassow and Warrie Streets. A woman reported to the police that while she was at that location, Haulze shook his privates at her and some children who were on their way to school. The second incident occurred shortly thereafter

A woman police corporal reported that while she was at the corner of Central American Boulevard and Pelican Street, Haulze shook his privates at her and some children who were on their way to school. The corporal then called for a police mobile to assist her and when the police arrived they detained Haulze and later arrested him and charged him with 2 counts of exposing his person.

He was arraigned today before Magistrate Khadeem Palmer, and he pleaded not guilty to the offenses. The Magistrate fined him $100 for each count, and he must pay both by February 20th of next year. If he defaults, he will serve 1 month in prison for each fine.

This is not the first time that Haulze has been charged for this offense. In 2015, a 23-year-old woman of Ladyville reported to the police that Haulze shook his private part at her twice while she was walking on a street in Ladyville. Haulze, who had used the name Ehud Haulze, was charged with 2 counts of exposing his person, but the charges were struck out for want of prosecution.
