| As we told you last night, 31 year old Mario Huezo was charged for two counts of murder for allegedly killing his mother and father, Rafael and Nancy Huezo.
The magistrate has ordered a psychiatric evaluation - and his actions have certainly suggested a man in the throes of a serious mental episode.
This was clear to police on Tuesday morning in Independence Village when he had a standoff with the cops. Huezo raced away from the police in his parents' stolen car, and then refused to come out of the vehicle even after the lawmen shot out his front tire.
Today we learned from the commissioner of police all that happened during that tense standoff:
When Huezo appeared in court yesterday, he did not have an attorney.
