And then there was one: Mike Peyrefitte is now the only candidate for the UDP’s National Chairman.

Last night we told you that Dr. Carla Barnett had withdrawn her candidacy, and today, the other candidate, John Castillo also announced that he is withdrawing his candidacy.  That leaves Peyrefitte’s nomination un-opposed and so he will be endorsed at the convention.

But, there is still a heated contest for the other positions of Leader, First and Second Deputy Leader and Deputy Chairman.
