Working Man's Alleged Killer Gets Off

Frank Neal was killed almost 7 years ago; the 36 year old working man had gone to buy evening - time Johnny Cakes when he was gunned down.

Today, Paul Smith who has been on remand since 2013, was sent home when the DPP’s office entered a nolle pros motion.

Smith - an associate of the Pregnant Alley area - who was a 17 year old minor at the time of the murder was free to go home.

This is the first nolle pros case at the Supreme Court for murder since the January session of the Supreme Court kicked off eight days ago.
