Footballer Convicted For Firearm Offence
Tue, February 25, 2020
San Ignacio football player Wendell Trapp - who plays for Verdes Football Club - has pleaded guilty to discharging a firearm in public. It happened on Sunday night in downtown San Ignacio where Trapp was captured on multiple security cameras firing an unlicensed weapon. He says he did it in self defence, but did not waste the court's time in pleading guilty to discharging a firearm in public today.

He was not confined and instead fined $2,000.00 to be paid by the end of March, or in default, serve 1 year in prison.
