Police haven’t released any information on it yet, but 7News has learned that Special Branch in Corozal made significant marijuana bust over the holiday weekend. 

We are told that they have arrested 1 person who was transporting 44 pounds - or almost 20 kilos - of weed. Sources tell us that the suspected drug smuggler tried to carry out his operation in a crafty manner. The person actually hid the parcels inside a vehicle tire. As you can see, the cops had to slice through the tire’s material to expose the marijuana cache.
