If you thought the COVID-19 downtime would be the break you needed to waste a day in line at vital stats, think again. The Vital Statistics Unit is temporarily closed. It's a closure that comes after taking into consideration the current state of affairs in the wake of COVID-19. That means that effective immediately all services offered by the unit have been suspended.
In a press release today the Attorney General's office provided a tentative re-opening date of April 20, 2020.
