The last chairman of the Social Security Board Doug Singh resigned in a cloud of controversy three weeks ago. That's after some callous remarks about recipients of unemployment relief surfaced.

Well, government has found a replacement - and it is a familiar face at the social security board. The former CEO - who moved on from Social Security 5 months ago - Dr. Colin Young is the new chairman of the board of directors.

Young left SSB on good terms in December - after almost two years there - to take up a post at the Caribbean Community Climate Change Center. His taking over at a pivotal time for the organization - which still has not named a substantive CEO to replace him - is expected to have a salutary effect.
