And while he is now a land owner's rep, we also asked Ysaguirre about his former job as governor of the Central Bank.

His successor Joy Grant is in the thick of what will be the country's deepest financial crisis in its independent history.

We asked him about that:

"As a former governor of the central bank, do you look on with engage interest or with sympathy upon your successor?"

Glen Ysaguirre
"You want my honest opinion? I will say to you I have a great amount of sympathy for them and I will also say to you I don't envy any of them their positions there. It a difficult time and I could really understand and appreciate what they are going through, but from a personal standpoint, I am glad I no longer have to deal with that. I much prefer this problem than that one, let me put it that way."
