| And, one man who doesn't want to hear anything about COVID-19 mortality and morbidity is outspoken tour operator Yohny Rosado.
His business flatlined from late March when cruise ships stopped coming. And while he is as desperate as the other guy - he says he's not desperate enough to risk the community's health and wellbeing.
He's being listening keenly to the overnight and airline tourism interests who are clamouring for the airport to be re-opened. TODAY, he called us to push back against them, saying Belize should not rush:
Rosado says that lending institutions have stopped extending credit to him because tourism is too much of a risk.
