Bradley’s Politicus Interruptus?
Wed, July 1, 2020
The UDP is days away from its second leadership convention for this year, and while the atmosphere is nowhere near as intense as it was in January, things are starting to heat up.

And, reports suggest that it may be getting too hot for leader aspirant Darrell Bradley. Reliable reports say that by the end of this week, the President of the Senate and former two term Belize City Mayor is expected to pull out of the race for leader.

We are told that his campaigning to delegates across the country has not been met with great enthusiasm and Bradley is expected to withdraw.

His candidacy was a long shot at best since he is a member of parliament by selection - not election - and does not have, nor is he running for a seat in the House.

So far, both he and Omar Figueroa have withdrawn from the race, leaving Patrick Faber, John Saldivar and Wilfred Elrington.
