That's what residents of Guinea Grass did this weekend when they saw a suspected border jumper roaming around a farm on a village road.
They called police and the Quick Response Team responded. They found a Guatemalan, 50-year-old Elias Hernandez Lopez. He admitted to the cops that was in the state of Yucatan, Mexico, and that he arrived in Belize illegally about a week ago.
He was escorted to the Northern Regional Hospital for swabbing related to COVID tests, and he was then quarantined pending charges.
