106 Negative Tests
Mon, July 20, 2020
The contact tracing exercise for the COVID cases coming out of San Felipe and Blue Creek Villages are encouraging. On Friday 106 samples were processed, and all were negative. The Ministry of health says it has now cleared all the samples processed from the contact tracing in both San Felipe and Blue Creek.

But, what about case #39 - the scrap metal dealer in Santa Elena?

On Friday the Ministry said it had processed the initial samples from his immediate contacts and contact tracing was ongoing.

Interestingly, they established links to a Mexican community on the Northern border and, quote, "details of this are evolving but for now, we are unable to document any community spread." End quote.
