| 8 Years After His Murder, Aldana Family Gets Justice |

Tonight, there is justice for the family of Edgar Aldana. In April of 2016, the 63 year old farmer was drinking with people he thought to be friends- when they turned on him, and hacked him to death.
Well, 8 years later, the two accused men, Marlon Padilla and Guillermo Duarte, were both found guilty of the murder in the Belmopan High Court. They were both sentenced to life imprisonment by Justice Francis Cumberbatch and will be eligible for parole after 25 years.
At the time, police concluded the murder was motivated by drunken anger.
