| And, after this murder happened right in the heart of an SOE zone - the Leader of the Opposition today pounced on what he sees as a failing law enforcement effort:

"I don't recall over the last 15 years at least, that there has ever been this situation where the government has declared a state of emergency and we have had this amount of murder take place. And it is a sad day in Belize. We're not even in a state of emergency can stem the murders."
