| 8 Months On The Run, Alleged Murderer Captured In Honduras |

A wanted man has been captured after 8 months on the run. Dimas Duarte was captured in Honduras and deported to Belize to face charges.
Duarte is the former special constable who allegedly used a licensed weapon to kill Erik Estrada in a bar brawl in Billy White village in August of 2023. Estrada was killed when he was hit by as many as 11 gunshots.
The victim's family said at the time that Duarte was a troublemaker who had been threatening the family ever since he arrived in the village.
Later checks showed that Duarte had been close to police and also had a licensed weapon.
He went on the run immediately after the murder. He is expected to face charges for it now.
