| Two parents have been charged for cruelty to children including abandonment after they allowed their 14 year old daughter to live with an older man for whom she became pregnant.
The minor had been living with a 23 year old man on San Pedro since August of 2023. When the social services department intervened, the child was 22 weeks pregnant. The male was arrested and charged for unlawful sexual intercourse. While her parents from San Pablo village were detained on Thursday and both charged for Cruelty to children including abandonment.
To protect the child's identity, we cannot disclose names.
