Another union leader, the President of the Belize National Teachers Union discussed something far less notional - and that's the brain drain of teachers.They are being attracted to other countries who are trying to recruit them for better pay and better conditions.

The president said she is aware of it:

"So behind the scenes, we're working on our challenges. But I can tell the country right now: the BNTU is stronger than ever."

"That I can tell this country. There's no if, but or maybe about that. We're working with our membership. We're working with our branch leaders and their executives because we have to make certain that the re-branding of BNTU is something for this country to remember for eternity."
