| Rolling Outages Continue To Grip Belize From Afternoon To Night |

Tonight, the power crisis continues to grip the country - and today laid shedding across various communities started from 3:00 pm.
At this hour, power supply remains unstable and….really, blackout could befall us at any minute.
The latest update shows that at 6:00 pm outages are scheduled for Orange Walk, Corozal, Lake Independence, San Ignacio and Dangriga.
This is the 6:00 pan update, and we expect another coming on to 9:00 pm.
BEL continues to not have enough power generation capacity in country - and Mexico's CFE is able to provide. Them power at this time due to demand son their side.
The Westlake generator which is the key missing piece of generation was slashed to be finished with repairs on Monday but it remains out of commission at this time.
Earlier today,, BEL's CEO said. It could be back by tonight - but we wouldn't bet on it.
