And we also asked PM Briceno his thoughts on the Commissioner of Police's political interest in the Mesopotamia constituency. He said that Williams has not brought it up to him, but he's welcome to apply, just like any other Belizean. And he also suggested that Jules Vasquez's name should also be on a ballot come 2025.

"I don't know why you are making a big deal about it he has not spoken with me about that but like any Belizean like yourself if you want to put your name you can. Jules Vasquez has all the answers to all the problems he should put his name on the ballot you know I mean everyone should have the right to put their name as long as they can be productive legislators and politicians that want to be able to address the problems we are facing in this country."

"How would you feel about a man like the commissioner being a part of the party?"

"Well, I think that he has a lot of competency. He has shown that he is about public service. He has been a police officer for several decades and highly qualified."
"I think he is liked and respected by most everyone, except the leader of the opposition. I wonder why."
