And these two murders followed the attempted murder of another gang affiliate, Jimmy Rojas on Saturday morning. The incident occurred on Tibruce Street and Rojas is currently in a stable condition. He was able to give a report to the police and ACP Romero gave us the details.

"Investigation is that he was working in the area when a vehicle pulled up, a male person came out and fired several shots towards his direction causing his injuries. Police immediately responded and there was an exchange of gunshots and another male person was also shot, he was identified as Eric Frazer and he is presently at the KHMH also in a stable condition. Investigation into this shooting continues."

"Jimmy Rojas was the intended target."

"Motive for his shooting?"
ACP Hilberto Romero, OCED
"Gang rivalry between two groups."
Reporter:
"Is it believed to be some sort of retaliation for the murder of Jose Matus which he is accused of?"

"Well we know that murder happened last year so we're looking at that likewise where he was a suspect so all of that information we're looking at."
Several gang members have been detained for this shooting.
