| For two weeks now - we've been reporting on the investigation into two customs officers - a male and a female who are relatives. Police were called in after they both asked a fellow officer to clear a box of bath and body works items that came into the Port of Belize via a freight service. But when the colleague looked inside, he found 15 pounds of high grade marijuana. Police investigated for weeks - because the female officer who had asked her colleague to clear it for her - never took possession of the box and her name was not written on the box. But, more than four weeks after the cannabis was detected, reports tell us that the female officer was today detained by police. We'll keep following the story. |
