So since this public officer was placed on administrative leave following extortion charges, should the same happen to Alexis Rosado, who has been charged with rape?
Here's what Musa said when we asked him:
Reporter:
"Do you believe that in the same manner, Alexis Rosado should also be suspended or take leave?"
Kareem Musa:
"That's a very good question. I think when it comes to Mr. Rosado, I have heard the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Prime Minister mention the importance of his role. As you know, we are facing an existential threat when it comes to the unfounded claim by Guatemala. That's a whole different kettle of fish when it comes to responsibility and the duties and institutional knowledge that he can provide as a co-agent on that case. So it's very important. You have to assess the situation. Now if you ask me if he is found guilty if he should remain as co-agent, I would say absolutely not."
