But the Prime Minister wasn't thinking about any state of emergency today, he popped up in "Distrito Federal" - Mexico City. No public notice that he was even out of the country was sent and we got the live link of his appearance at the presidential palace when it was happening.

Prime Minister Briceno received a warm welcome from President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador today at the Palacio Nacional in Mexico City
After a cordial greeting - Briceno was greeted by a fanfare as he walked into the main courtyard:
While it had all the trappings of grandeur - for the Mexicans who can put on quite a show - this was stately, but almost low key.
Inside the courtyard - flags of the neighboring countries were festooned side by side as the President and Prime Minister stood shoulder to shoulder - while their anthems played.
There has been no official release on the Prime Minister's trip, much less a detailing of the meeting's agenda, but reports say Briceno and AMLO discussed relaxing trade regulations for Belizean imports, and the possibility of "Tren Maya" adding a stop close to the Belizean border.
Whatever was on his wish list, Briceno had to talk fast because AMLO's 6 year term ends in June.
