And today's plane hijacking still has many Belizeans in shock. Today the media asked the ComPol whether he believe international travelers will be more apprehensive when visiting the country. Here's what he said.

"At the end of the day I would want to think that it is a rare occurrence or us in Belize and the person involved is not a Belizean and the response from the Security Forces and the different organisations was prompt and professionally executed so I don't foresee it having people getting a negative reaction from coming to Belize."
