But aside from salaries and increments Lord says that the matter involving licenses is another concern they need MOE to address urgently. She went on to explain how it affects teacher's pay when they are in the process of getting it renewed.

"Yes we have teachers who have been impacted in fact I had a member whose license had expired but that member got the renewal of the license before the expiration of the previous license but because information was not readily shared between those responsible for payroll, that member was then taken off payroll despite having a valid license at this time so those are some of the things that our national president spoke to when she did her rounds in the media, her last round in the media because we have an agreement with the government to ensure with the ministry of education per say to ensure that this does not happen, when a teacher license is in process we had asked that the teacher be retained because the teacher is still teaching the teacher is still working as long as they meet the requirements to maintain that license we ask that, that agreement be honoured."
