And while no one was killed in that shooting, last week we told you about the murder of Zinedine Pinelo, the San Pedro resident who was killed on Hunter's Lane. Today the police stated that he came to the city to buy a motorcycle, but was ambushed by six men.

"Information is that he went to Hunter's Lane along with another person to do a business transaction. thereafter when he arrived there, there was 6 other persons there. They attacked him, robbed him, and one of the persons shot him causing his fatal injuries. We have two persons in custody in regards to this murder."

"He went to do a purchase from a person, he went there with some cash to do a purchase and so stolen from him was his firearm and some cash."

"We do not know at this time, no."

"Was it illicit? I don't see any storefront in Hunter's Lane so was it a licit or an illicit purchase?"

"Information is that he was to purchase a motorcycle. That is the information we got however we are doing more follow up to see what the actual transaction was."

"Do you all believe that he was lured to this location?"

"We believe he was led there, when he arrived, there were six persons waiting there and these were the persons that attacked him."

"Do you believe it was their plan to rob him of his money and his gun, was he specially targeted because of this weapon?"

"Yes, we believe that he was targeted to be robbed yes."

"So he had a licensed firearm?"

"He had a licensed firearm."

"A 9mm pistol."

"He left San Pedro with an individual from the city I'm told. Has that person, and that person escaped without injury, ran off, was that person..."

"Yes we found that person and he is being interviewed."

"Might be be an accomplice?"

"We don't know at this time, after the interview we'll know more information."
