This morning one of the "gray eminences" of the UDP, Michael Finnegan made a rare morning show appearance on KREM's W-U-B. He discussed at length and in detail the current woeful state of his party. And he said it's time for his nephew Shyne Barrow to go - even as Shyne continues to cling to leadership to go:

"It's like the UDP right now as far as I'm concerned, you look around in the UDP, only Tracy I see that can lead the party… Darrell Bradley is not around. Who else is there to lead the party? You mean they can't come together and bring the party together. If you don't even want move and move in the direction I'm suggesting, then there are other directions but the party needs a new direction."
"Shyne Barrow has a lot of talent and a lot of abilities. A lot of abilities. He speaks well… he manages certain things properly. But when you have been given a chance and you don't make use of your chance then you have to open the door for new ideas and new people to come in. And you have to work with them. It doesn't mean that you are done and they are throwing you away because you can be useful to the organization."
