Yesterday we showed you the chartered Airbus 321 that had 21 Belizean deportees on board. They were all living in the US illegally and some of them had criminal charges against them.
Well today the US Embassy released images of the deplaning along with a statement that says they worked alongside ICE and GOB to facilitate the deportation. The statement also says, quote, "The United States has a zero-tolerance policy against illegal immigration - including those who enter illegally and those who overstay or misuse their visa. Belizeans illegally present in the United States are encouraged to self-deport via the CBP Home app. In addition to a US$1,000 exit bonus, those who voluntarily depart avoid costly legal processes and forced returns."
