Could the divided UDP be inching towards a reunification? Could be! Today it was announced that the acting chairman Alberto August is calling a meeting of the National Party Council for June 14, 2025 at the party Headquarters in Belize City.
A notice says, quote, "The primary purpose of the meeting is to discuss the Party's Reset and Unification Agenda 2025."
So, will this include Tracy Panton? Well, it seems she didn't get the memo, at least not directly. She wrote to Chairman August today saying she looks forward to receiving the official notice of this meeting from the UDP Secretariat.
This evening she told us she is awaiting the Official Notice for the NPC.
