But Shyne Barrow has publicly blamed his Uncle Finnegan for his loss in the March general election. Here's what the party elder had to say about that:
Michael Finnegan, Former 6 term Area Rep:
"That is not true and if that was true he would not have gotten 300 votes, how much would he have gotten? I don't know how much he would have gotten but it would not have been 300 votes."
Jules:
"So 300 is a lot?"
Michael Finnegan, Former 6 term Area Rep:
"I wanted him to win, I think he is a good person I think he is a good speaker but he has a personality flaw, and he has to correct his flaw."
Jules:
"The other thing he said was that well time is long and he just has to wait to come back a funny thing he said which is not welcomed in our culture that well he will, words to the effect that you won't be around forever.

"Well our genes long, my aunty have died 101, 99, Esmi died my mom, 91, my grandma from my mom side died 95 my grandfather died 98 our genes are kind of long."
