Attorney Orson "OJ" Elrington appeared in the High Court this morning, where he was formally indicted for rape, just one day before his 44th birthday.
Accompanied by his father and legal representative, Senior Counsel Hubert Elrington, OJ Elrington was arraigned in Justice Nigel Pilgrim's courtroom. Elrington pleaded not guilty and was informed that his case will proceed in a trial without a jury.
The charge stems from an alleged incident on January 12, 2024, involving a woman in her mid-20s.
Elrington remains out on bail granted by the Magistrate's Court in 2024.
