Elmer Nah was back in court today as the Ramnarace murder trial continued, but the defense attorney sought yet another adjournment. Lynden Jones explained that two weeks ago, Vivian Ramnarace's sister gave a statement that indicated that she has two videos from the night the family was attacked - one from the front door and one from the back door. Jones told the court that he was aware of the video at the front door, but had no knowledge of the other video, which was just disclosed to him yesterday around 3:00.
Along with the adjournment, Jones also sought bail for Elmer Nah on the grounds that crown was causing multiple delays. However, Justice Nigel Pilgrim denied bail and ordered that no additional disclosure can be given by the crown in this case.
Nah was remanded once again until June 18th.
