Since the general election in March -the Prime Minister and his Cabinet have made appointments to a number of government boards - but there's been no public announcement.
But we did see a rare one today and it is intriguing. The government owned Port of Belize has appointed a new board - and it's stacked with professional associates or relatives of the leader of Government Business, Eamon Courtenay.
The Board is Chaired by ambassador Lynn Young with membership including attorney from Courtenay Coye, Pricilla Banner, Rey Guerrero from the Ministry of Economic Transformation, Ian Courtenay from the Prime Minister's office, Auctioneer Kevin Castillo, businessman Dinesh Bhojwani and former unionist Elena Smith - who we are told is not a union representative but is there for her union background.
A press release says "The appointment of the new Board represents the next phase in the company's governance and oversight structure."
