A mother had to rescue her young child from a predator who she caught trying to rape her 5-year old daughter. And, tonight the alleged perpetrator, a Belize City Construction Worker is on remand at the Belize Central Prison after he was arraigned on two counts, attempted rape and harm upon a child.
He is 55-year-old Victor Cowo, a Construction Worker of a Southside address in Belize City.
Allegations are that on Sunday, June 15, he attempted to rape the five year old child and caused harm to the minor.
The mother told police that she arrived home at around 10:20 p.m. to hear her child screaming from the living room area and saw that her daughter was being choked by the man who was attempting to have sex with her.
