Miss Stann Creek Reena Usher is the 64th Queen of the Bay. She was
chosen in the Queen of the Bay pageant held at City Center on Saturday night.
She beat out 9 other candidates to win the crown. Here is her crowning moment.
Master of Ceremony: “Ladies and Gentlemen the 1st
runner up, Miss Jane Usher Kiasha Bevans. The queen of the bay 2009-2010 is
Miss Stann Creek Reena Beverly Usher.”
The first runner up was Kiasha Bevans from Jane Usher Boulevard. Reena
Usher will be formally crowned by outgoing queen Karima Card in tenth day activities
on Thursday. She won among other things a scholarship to the University of Belize.
It is of note that Reena Usher comes from a lineage of queens as two of her
sisters were previous queens of the bay.
