Today was World Sight Day. In Belize it was celebrated by the Belize
Council for the Visually Impaired with an open day. Jacklyn Graham is BCVI’s
Primary Eye Care Manager.

“We are celebrating World Sight Day. It is an initiative held worldwide
for the prevention of blindness. So BCVI decided to bring forth the awareness
of eye prevention. We have our staff coming out today showing the different
parts of the organization; rehabilitation, glasses and treatment, and basic
general eye health and we are also planting a tree in commemoration of this
day.”
