There have been a number of armed robberies in the past few days. The most recent happened last night at 10:50 when Oliver Bolon was walking on Vernon Street and was held up at the corner of Mayflower street. That's when a man walked up to him and demanded his valuables. Police could not say whether Bolon resisted – but the assailant stabbed him and ran off with his cell phone.
