He Went “Rambo” On “Cowboy”

Twenty eight year old Jeffrey Flowers, a remanded prisoner who allegedly stabbed ex-police officer Kevin "Cowboy" Alvarez, was charged with wounding and using threatening words when he appeared today in the Number six magistrate's court. Flowers pleaded not guilty to the charges. His case was adjourned until July 19th.

The incident occurred around 12:15 P.M. on Saturday, May 29th. Alvarez, who is remanded on a charge of murder, reported to the police that he was at Tango Ten working, building Cell I at B Wing, when Flowers approached him and stabbed him in his right rib cage with a prison made knife called a "bora".

Alvarez said that after Flowers stabbed him, he also threatened to kill him. Flowers is under remand for shooting at a police officer at the end of March....
