43 year old fudge vendor Bernard Pratt will spend 18 years in jail for the carnal knowledge of an 11 year old girl.
He was convicted of four counts of Carnal Knowledge last week and today Justice Herbert Lord sentenced him to 18 years for one count, and 17 years for each of the other 3 counts.
The sentences are to run concurrently, so he will only spend 18 years in prison. The minimum sentence is 12 years and the maximum is life imprisonment.
Before he decided on the sentence, Justice Lord heard pleas from Pratt's family including his daughter.
Pratt had sex with the child four times between June first and July 31st of 2008. He was not represented by an attorney......
