Thirty five year old Arthur Young who was charged along with Errol Haynes with three offences, among them possession of a prohibited silencer, was released on bail of Ten Thousand dollars today after being on remand since April.
Senior Magistrate Sharon Fraser who offered Young the bail, granted it on the condition that while he is on bail, Young is not charged for any other offences. He is to return to court on November 13th. Young's other charges include drug trafficking for 92.1 grams of crack cocaine and possession of 12.7 grams of cannabis.
The incident occurred in April when police searched a house in Buttonwood Bay and reported that they found a prohibited sound suppressor, the crack cocaine and cannabis. Only Haynes was at the house at the time but police said they also charged Young because they found personal documents belonging to him at the house.
