Twenty four year old Ronlee Petillo, who allegedly entered the house of 43 year old Emelia Palacio with a gun, was charged with aggravated burglary and harm when he appeared today in Magistrate's Court.
Petillo pleaded not guilty to the charges. Magistrate's Emmerson Banner explained to him that the court cannot offer him bail because the offence was committed with a firearm.
He remanded Petillo into custody until November 18th.
The incident occurred around 8 on Tuesday night. Palacio reported to the police that she was at her west street home when Petillo enterred her home and attack Rupert Mckenzie who was socializing with her son, Nelson Martinez.
She said her son started to fight with Petillo and when she intervened Petillo punched her on her chest. She said her other son, Gilbery Martinez intervened and subdued Petillo who had a black object resembling a firearm stuck in his pants waist. She told police that Gilbert managed to get Petillo out the house while she called the police who found him at the back of the house.
