You may remember Twenty three year old Shawn Edwards - he was the accused armed robber who got shot up by the owner of a bar he allegedly tried to rob.
Well he was back in court yesterday, charged this time with robbery.
He pleaded not guilty to the charge when he appeared in the #8 Magistrate's Court.
Edwards wasn't offered bail because the offence was committed with a firearm and he was remanded into custody until December 8.
The robbery occurred on Thursday Evening, October 14.
The complainant, 24 year old sales assistant Shane Fairweather, reported to the police that he was at his work place Benny's Bargain Center on Freetown Road when a lone gunman entered and stole his cell phone valued at $210.00
The police reported that they conducted an identification parade yesterday and Fairweather positively identified Edwards as the robber.
