But beyond that who is Ervin Reneau? Well he is the son of former PUP mayoral candidate, Cecil "Chubby" Renau and up until recently he had been working man at the Ministry Of Works. His former boss Boots Martinez told us that he stopped working only just recently:

"He was a supervisor here, I don't know much about him, he has always been calm on the job. I can't say anything more than that but more than to condemn the actions, we go at pains to try to make opportunity for the people who we believe is marginal and there is no room for lawlessness."

"So he was working here for a year, how recently did he quit his job and do you know why?"

"He quit his job about a month and a half ago, he came to see me in Belmopan last week in regards to saying that he stop work because his girlfriend was sick. I saw no indication of that, I told him that because they were in the corridor."

"I understand that they made some discovery of some guns, have you heard anything about that?"

"Well hearing about the incident last night I too is a Belizean and very concern, I started to do my own little investigation and what I know that from somebody was there at the bank when the thing started dealing with ATM issues who knew who the person were in terms of face and I make no apology in terms of passing any information to the police. I am a citizen, I am a justice of the peace and I am a minister and further more to that I condemn lawlessness and the investigations continue and led to the detention of the individual who I understand confess to the crime and also took the police to recover the firearm from the security guard."

The two men who took Reneau to the gas station were also detained - but police believe that they did not know what Reneau had planned…. Reports are that Renaeu was charged for murder this evening.
