Copperbank, Corozal Child Molestor Gets US Conviction
posted (March 24, 2011)
He was charged for sexually molesting and exploiting a Belizean child in Corozal, but 71 year old U.S. national Roland Flath was convicted in the United States!

Falth is now facing a maximum penalty of up to 30 years in prison and a fine of $250,000.00, after a grand jury in the state of Wisconsin returned an indictment against him.

Flath was arrested in the village of Copperbank where police found a number of pornographic material on DVD's, a laptop and desktop computer and a camera.

The pornographic material is said to have included a Belizean minor. In addition to the possession of pornographic materials, Flath was accused by a 14 year old student, who stated that in 2007, at the age of 10 years old, she went to Flath's residence where he showed her a book of nude pictures and asked her if she wanted to do what she saw. The minor is said to have visited Flath's residence more than 30 times over the past five years, during which he is alleged to have abused her. For reasons unknown, Flath was never brought to justice in Belize for the molestation charge. He was arrested by the Guatemalan National Civil Police last month, and was expelled to the United States where he was arrested in the United States by ICE agents and the US Marshal Service. Charges against Flath for aggravated assault of a minor are still pending in Belize.
