And before we leave tonight, we remind residents of the Belize district about a major, district-wide power outage scheduled for tomorrow morning. It starts at 5:00 am - with a three hour outage which will affect the entire Belize district.
That outage will continue until 11:00 am in Belize City - and it will extend up to Mile 1 on the Northern Highway and Western Highways. So, to be clear, Belize city will have blackout, from five to eleven AM tomorrow.
BEL says it needs to conduct works along Mahogany Street in Belize City and at the West Lake Substation where it will replace infrastructure and make safety improvements on the transmission system in the area.
