Man Survives Shot To Neck
posted (July 1, 2011)
Last night a Port Loyola man was shot in the neck - but the bullet exited beneath his ear and he survived. At around 7:45, 30 year old Noel Usher was at his house on Reggae Street with 38 year old Arden Midleton, known as Gad - who is also from the area.

A gunman pulled up in the area and opened fire, hitting Usher in the neck. He then pursued Middleton into the yard, and they started to struggle for control of the weapon, which is when Middleton was shot in the palm of his hand. Both men were taken to the KHMH where they are in stable condition.

Usher was recently charged in connection with the armed robbery of Heritage Bank in Orange Walk. In 2009 he got off the murder of security guard Oliver Blanco.
